Current Research:

My research involves examining children’s expressions of bodily sensation. I am interested in the ways in which children express pain and discomfort relating to both chronic conditions and less pervasive concerns. Initially I am focusing on everyday talk based on recordings of family mealtimes.

Talk in Interaction, Discursive Psychology, Conversation Analysis, Adult Child Talk, Talk about Health.
