REST students get up on the roof to learn about photovoltaics
REST accredited for another 5 years!
We are pleased to announce that our MSc in Renewable Energy Systems Technology (REST) has passed the accreditation procedures of the Energy Institute once more with flying colours.
The rigorous procedure involves a detailed examination of our curriculum, assessment procedures, of our lecturers’ teaching performance and the department’s facilities. The expert assessment panel also takes into account the views of students so when the green light is given, it means we really are worth it!
Students with an MSc REST under their belt and who have also accumulated a portfolio of practical, relevant industrial experience, will now continue to be eligible for Chartered Engineer status (CEng) if they began their studies at Loughborough any year up to 2015.
Another bonus is that accreditation confers free Energy Institute membership for our students while they are studying!
