Department hits league table top spots - June 6th 2009
Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Loughborough has been placed fifth in the Times Good University Guide, making it one of the best departments in the country at which to study.
The Department has also maintained its position as number one in the UK for graduate prospects, and what's more our students think it's great here too - we came equal top with Surrey, York and Cambridge for Student Satisfaction.
Head of Department Professor Yiannis Vardaxoglou said:
“This result confirms that Loughborough is a great place to study Electronic and Electrical Engineering. Together with our outstanding courses in Systems Engineering this makes our graduates increasingly employable. Companies wanting to recruit our graduates are finding they have to provide placement years or sponsorship to have access to the best.”
