Making Money from the Sun - October 2008
Dr Ralph Gottschalg appeared on BBC East Midlands to comment on the local news story of a Derbyshire man who is producing so much solar power he is selling electricity to the National Grid.
Ralph predicted that in 5-7 years, it would be cheaper to produce your own solar energy than to buy off the National Grid, and, even though the initial outlay is expensive, he encouraged individuals to do their bit. He added that the benefits are not only the obvious ones of green electricity and reduced carbon emissions, but also a major boost to local industry.
