Life at Loughborough - a student's point of view
Ben's story
I chose Loughborough because when I visited it seemed like a friendly, happening place to be; the students here were very approachable and happy to help. My view hasn't changed since, the people here, lecturers and students are great to be around and the atmosphere is positive and mostly laid back.The facilities in the School sold it to me; the links in industry and the equipment available have made it very easy for me to get on with work and become more employable as well as earning a respectable degree.
The Loughborough experience is like no other! The whole atmosphere is work conducive but laid back, there is plenty of opportunity to do extra curricular and recreational activities but the facilities are available when work has to be done.
I will always remember feeling fulfilled here in every aspect, the work is challenging but rewarding as well as useful for my future career. The work-hard-play-hard attitude has set me up for life and I will never forget that!
